The founder of "Feel Safe Again" along with her brother, advisory
board director, recently received the September 11th Award for their
contributions and sacrifice on behalf of their sister for victims of
stalking. This special achievement award was presented to them
by the Massachusetts Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
Please show your support for victims of stalking by wearing a ribbon
during January, National Stalking Awareness Month and throughout the
year. Awareness ribbons will be distributed to local police
departments, as well as, upcoming events in Massachusetts and New
Hampshire. If you would like more information, please contact

We would
like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to our
family, friends, board members, volunteers and guest speakers for
helping us make our First Annual Benefit Dinner a wonderful success.
We raised much-needed funds, but more importantly we raised
awareness about this serious crime of fear. We would like to
acknowledge all the Massachusetts public officials who attended our
event to show their support, and recognize our efforts to help
victims of stalking become survivors. We would also like to
extend a warm welcome to the newly elected and re-elected Board
Members of Feel Safe Again, Inc..

We would like to acknowledge Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The founder of "Feel Safe Again", participated in the United Against
Domestic Violence - 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk-a-Thon in New Hampshire.
This event helped raise funds for several local organizations which
also provide some assistance and resources to Victims of Stalking.
We have scheduled several Massachusetts public officials to
speak at our First Annual Benefit Dinner next
month. If you are interested in attending this important event,

We have compiled a list of helpful resources in Massachusetts and
New Hampshire, creating a Client Resource Handbook for Victims of
Stalking.
Our handbooks are available to incoming clients at no cost in order
to provide additional professional resources. If you or
someone you know is a victim of stalking, please contact our

We are pleased to announce, "Feel Safe Again" has secured a business
location in Hudson, New Hampshire. We are still actively
looking for office space in Everett, Massachusetts. If there
is any information regarding available office space...please contact

established a Victims' Emergency Fund. With this fund, we hope
to provide financial assistance to victims of stalking. If you

The founder of "Feel Safe Again" has been asked to join the Public
Education Committee of the Governor's Commission on Domestic and
Sexual Violence in New Hampshire.

We're getting the word out! We would like to thank everyone
who contacted us, and hope the information you received, helps you
become a survivor of stalking. We have launched our first
fund-raising event. Please consider making a donation to "Feel
Safe Again". This will enable us to continue providing the
much-needed information and support group services for Victims of
Stalking.

We have an airdate! The founder of "Feel Safe Again", along
with her brother, the advisory board chair, will be on the Montel
Williams show, April 23, 2004. The show is titled, Stalked:
Living In Fear. It can be seen on Fox25 at 3:00PM EST.
We would also like to acknowledge Victims' Rights Week: April
18th-April 24th. The Stalking Awareness Bill was PASSED by the
House of Representatives in Concord, New Hampshire on April 15,
2004.

Administration Committee on March 23, 2004.

2004
The founder of "Feel Safe Again" testified on February 11, 2004
before the Senate Committee in Concord, New Hampshire, on behalf of
a Stalking Awareness Resolution. The Resolution was sponsored by
Senator Robert E. Clegg, Jr., Senate Majority Leader (District 14),
to designate January as Stalking Awareness Month. It was
supported by the Senate Committee, which was then passed by the
Senate without debate. It is scheduled to go before the House
of Representatives next month.

2004
We officially announced the establishment of "Feel Safe Again".
A non-profit organization for Victims of Stalking. The
announcement was made during a Press Conference given by Senator
Pamela P. Resor (Middlesex/Worcester District), who sponsored and
formal filed a Stalking Awareness Resolution at the Statehouse in
Boston, Massachusetts on January 22, 2004. The National Center
for Victims of Crime is honoring January 2004 as the first
observance of National Stalking Awareness Month.
August 2003
After three and a half years...justice was finally served. Our sister's stalker was found guilty of first-degree murder...and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole on August 15, 2003.
